Capital Improvements to Rabbit Run Theater

Rabbit Run Theater is one of the few barn theaters still in operation, producing four to five shows each summer. The 2014 season opens Friday, June 6 with the comedy Noises Off, followed by Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, opening June 27. The musical Brigadoon runs from July 18 through Aug. 2, and the summer closes with the Neil Simon hit comedy The Odd Couple, Aug. 15 through Aug. 30. Continue reading

Akron Zoo sees record crowds in first month since the opening of the Mike & Mary Stark Grizzly Ridge exhibit

AKRON, Ohio – The bears have been all the buzz at the Akron Zoo. Since the Mike and Mary Stark Grizzly Ridge exhibit opened on July 20, 2013, over 109,000 people have visited the new exhibit in the first month.
