Parma, Ohio
– West Creek Conservancy and Parma Animal Shelter will co-host the Tails for Trails Dog Walk fundraiser on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the Keystone Shelter in the West Creek Reservation. West Creek Reservation is located at 2277 West Ridgewood Drive, between Broadview and State Roads in Parma.

Sign-in begins at 11:00 a.m. and the walk will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a three mile walk. Following the walk, participants will celebrate with refreshments, family activities (face painting, photo booth, and more), shopping with local vendors/crafters, music and raffles.

Attendees are welcome to participate with or without a canine. The registration fee is $20 per dog, $30 for 2 or more dogs. Human participation is free and encouraged. Participants are invited to obtain pledges and/or donations (with a chance to win a great prize). All donations will help West Creek Conservancy’s efforts to protect land and build trails in our community and Parma Animal Shelter’s effort to prevent animal cruelty, abuse, neglect,  increase public awareness and appreciation of companion animals and educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter to control pet over-population.
