An exciting celebration awaits all who attend Rabbit Run Theater’s Homecoming Weekend Friday, Sept. 5 and 6.

Two special events make up the weekend: an Alumni Evening on Friday, Sept. 5, and The Homecoming Gala on Saturday evening, Sept. 6.  Both events include a performance of Back to the Barn, an Evening with Eric and Matt, featuring original works by Eric Grapatin and Matt Gehring.

Grapatin and Gehring cut their acting teeth performing at Rabbit Run Theater and are currently performing in New York City, and they have written a sketch comedy show performed especially for the Homecoming Weekend.

The Friday night Alumni Evening includes not only a performance of Back to the Barn” but also provides a great opportunity for alumni to catch up with friends and exchange memories.  Alumni include anyone who has acted, worked or volunteered at the theater as well as anyone who has enjoyed performances at the barn.

On Friday there will be a meet and greet with Grapatin and Gehring after the performance and seasonal refreshments will be available for purchase.  Guests are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy on the theater’s picnic grounds prior to the show.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  The show begins at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $15/person.

Saturday evening is the Back to the Barn Homecoming Gala Benefit.  Under the twinkle lights in the theater’s courtyard, guests will partake of food provided by Fahrenheit and East Coast Custard food trucks.  Fahrenheit has been praised by the likes of Rachel Ray and Gourmet Magazine who dubbed Fahrenheit as “The Darling of the Bohemian Tremont District”.

Saturday evening’s events include both live and silent auctions with unique auction items and a performance of Back to the Barn, an Evening with Eric and Matt.
