AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo will hold their annual Breakfast with the Bunny event on Sunday, April 6, Sunday, April 13 and Saturday, April 19, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – 11 a.m. The event includes breakfast, a visit from the Bunny and an outdoor egg hunt. Reservations are required and space is limited.
Breakfast with the Bunny is held in the zoo’s Komodo Kingdom Education Center. Upon arriving at the zoo, guests will enjoy a full breakfast buffet. Visitors can also visit with a costumed bunny, “Peter Cottontail,” and take pictures. At 10:30 a.m. kids are invited to participate in an outdoor egg hunt. Every child that participates in the hunt will receive a goodie bag. The price of the event also includes free admission to the zoo following the event.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Winter hours, through April, are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission is $7 per person. The parking fee is $2. Starting May 1, the Akron Zoo hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens, $8 for children (ages 2-14). Children under two are free and parking is $2.
