The story unfolds during the dark ages when the land was ruled by the wicked sorceress Azura, whose spell has trapped the legendary hero Balor under her control to command her legion of relentless henchmen.  Hope remains lost for all those in the kingdom…until now.”

The tale of Rhythm in the Night is told through Irish dance with a world-class troupe of both male and female dancers. Adding to the drama and excitement of the production, Rhythm in the Night features an original soundtrack that delivers an orchestral atmosphere of epic proportions. The battle scenes transcend the struggle of dark versus light as the lightning fast rhythms and a thunderous dance troupe display Irish dance like never before seen. Rhythm in the Night turns an age-old art form into an exciting Irish dance spectacular the whole family can enjoy!

Canton Native Brings Irish Dance Tour Home For St. Patrick’s Day

Rhythm in the Night, The Irish Dance Spectacular was created by former lead dancer  from Michael Flatley’s Lord of  the Dance, Justin Boros. Justin, a self-taught Irish dance prodigy, joined Lord of the Dance only a year and a half after starting Irish dance lessons at  the local Tim O’Hare School  of  Irish  dance. He attended Northwest High School in Canal Fulton where he left between his junior and senior year to tour with Lord of the Dance. Years later, Justin now brings his own production back to his hometown of Canton, Ohio for this coming St. Patrick’s Day. Determined to add something new and fresh to the genre, Justin brings a unique attribute to the Irish dance world with his 6’4” 290 lb. build as he plays the lead villain in Rhythm in the Night, Balor. The show’s creation began when Justin sought the musical talents of twin brother composers Andrew and Jared DePolo, who are also from Northeast Ohio, to compose the original soundtrack to  Rhythm in the Night. The original soundtrack for the production took nearly two years to complete and features a dramatic orchestral sound with a Celtic flare and is currently available on iTunes and Amazon. The 2014 Spring tour will feature 19 shows in 16 different cities across the U.S. with a cast of 22 highly accomplished Irish dancers and musicians.

Justin, who formed Two Step Productions in 2007 to create Rhythm in the Night, The Irish Dance Spectacular, adds “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring the show to the Canton Palace Theatre and perform in front of my hometown crowd on such a special day.”
