Cleveland Metroparks Chalet Toboggan Chutes Return For Another Year Of Icy Fun

Thanksgiving is the perfect holiday to relax, share a meal with family and friends and have fun. A great way to have fun is to make memories together laughing off all that turkey and stuffing, while tobogganing at the Chalet Toboggan Chutes in Strongsville.

toboggan2Cleveland Metroparks Chalet Toboggan Chutes officially open on Friday, November 29 with special holiday hours from noon to 10:30 p.m. The twin, refrigerated ice chutes are approximately 700 feet long with an initial vertical drop of 70 feet. It’s a fast, fun, heart-pumping ride.

And, best of all, you don’t have to lift a finger. The Chalet toboggan lift will do the heavy    lifting and carry each 40-pound toboggan to the top of the hill. Cleveland Metroparks Chalet staff will load and unload the toboggan lift, while you simply walk up the steps to the top of the chutes, where the toboggans will be waiting for the ride back down.
