Hop on over to Orrville Elementary on Sat, March 23 for the 13th Annual Bunny Trail. This free community event will be held from 11am – 2pm. The Trail is designed for young children, toddlers through fourth grade. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Coordinated by the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bunny Trail is best described as “trick-or-treat” with a spring theme. Families will enjoy the fact that every child receives an equal amount of goodies. Serpentini Chevrolet Buick of Orrville, event sponsor, will welcome guests at the front entrance of the school with balloons and treats
Featured attraction will be The Bunny, in a garden setting along the trail courtesy of Buehler’s Fresh Foods. There will not be a photographer taking pictures this year. Bring your own camera to capture your child’s visit with the Bunny. Orrville Dalton YMCA will share information about their youth programs while making sure the line to the visit the Bunny moves along at a steady pace.
Other new attractions along the trail this year include an Ice Cream Castle hosted by Orrville Christian Church in promotion of their summer VBS theme. Visitors to the castle will enjoy Ice cream treats donated by Smith Dairy Products.
Everything Rubbermaid offers Disney lunch box at their booth, while supplies last. Pink Disney Princess boxes for the girls and blue Disney Cars boxes for the boys.
Nagy’s Collision Repair invites everyone to take a turn playing PLINKO for prizes. Guess the number of eggs in the basket to win a birthday party at Putt-N-Stuff.
Other activities include face painting, prize wheel, coloring books, yummy treats and fun trinkets from more than 30 local businesses and organizations along the trail.
Entrance to the Bunny Trail will be through the main entrance at the front of the building only. A newly designed trail will ease the hallway congestion and “traffic jams” experienced in previous years. Free parking is available at the Orrville Elementary and Orrville Middle School.
