Military Families get free passes to
(from U.S. Army MWR)
Beginning Armed Forces Day, May 19, active-duty and activated Guard and Reserve service members can pick up the new military version of the “America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass.”
The pass will be accepted at National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Army Corps of Engineer recreation sites that charge entrance or standard amenity fees. With the pass, those entry fees will be waived.
Blue Star Museums

NEW YORK, NY – Today, Blue Star Families announced the launch of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,600 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel, including active Reserve and National Guard, and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2012.
